Interview with U Multicultural August 7th 2026

I've signed The Winnipeg guarantee And I will standby The Winnipeg guarantee.

Keeping Winnipeg Money in Winnipeg: I heavily support their push to prioritize buying local and hiring local workers first, ensuring our tax dollars directly benefit Winnipeg families and stimulate our own local economy.

Fixing Critical Infrastructure Instead of Kicking the Can: Their goal to fund the North End sewage treatment plant and finish separating our wastewater systems perfectly matches my commitment to protecting our waterways and managing long-term capital projects.

A Smarter Approach to Neighborhood Safety: I back their plan to expand 911 to include dedicated mental health support teams, taking the pressure off first responders and ensuring the right help is sent to our streets immediately.

Public Services Kept In-House and Accountable: I completely agree that critical services—including the upcoming public composting rollout—should remain publicly delivered by local workers rather than being outsourced to expensive, out-of-province private contractors.
